Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Bolduan is most famously known as anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the morning program of CNN, New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative discussions, such as negotiations for raising the loan limit for federal government and Super Committee discussions. In addition, Bolduan served as a general assignment reporter and covered such topics as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare as well as the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007.
