Summer glau

Her popularity is due to the fact that she was the lead actress in Whedon's new TV show, Firefly. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role as River Tam. Tam or Tam, as the character from the film was known, was subjected to research conducted by the government to help her become a successful assassin. Tam's ability to manage emotions was taken away from her. Glau was able to display her combat capabilities as well as her acting skills on Firefly. Glau's ability to fight was enhanced by her training to be an"Assassin. Her classical education is what makes her an extremely skilled ballerina. The injury to her right foot however that caused an end to her dance career. Firefly was a one-off show but it became a massive success. Whedon came back to it after a few years. While he was away, Summer Glau continued to be a star in a variety of shows. Her appearances on TV shows were as diverse as Cold Case and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
