Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered by many to be one of the most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles together with her siblings Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents from Houston. Simone was interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl during a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for eleven years under the direction of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles was a winner in the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an elite competition level in 2011. Within two years she had been the best in this particular event. Biles's consistency, her exuberant nature and high degree of challenge in her four events -vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- made her out from the rest of the athletes.
