Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Her first position was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases she was voted the Top female box-office debut worldwide. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw is divorced three times.
